Phila. names first female lead hornist
Orchestra has been a male dominated entity, but that is fast changing. Even the Veinna Philharmonic has new members who are not male. The brass section which had been dominated by men are also changing. A good musician is a good musician.

Hello, I was in the Cornell Symphony Orchestra from '95-'99. It's great to see how it's grown. BTW, I went to high school with the lead hornist in the article. I knew that should would make a name for herself.
