This articles chronicles the history of the new music series that featured twelve premieres by Igor Stravinsky during the time Stravinsky lived in California. A series that gave Michael Tilson Thomas his forum to play piano before his rise as a conductor. The 2006-2007 season will be curated by Steven Stucky, Kent Nagano and Esa-Pekka Salonen.
